Lightweight Calico, perfect for making toiles/ muslins before cutting into your final fabric. Use in place of any intended non-stretch fabrics such as silk, lace, embroidery or tulle.
To best mimic the fabrics, it is recommend to cut your patterns on the bias (diagonal to the grain). This allows a little ‘give’ which is characteristic of less tightly woven fabrics.
Composition: 100% Cotton

Greige is an industry term used to define undyed fabric in it’s natural colour. It has not been bleached or dyed, making it more sustainable and allows for a better quality result when dying at home.
Greige varies slightly in appearance depending on the composition of the fabric. 100% polyester fabrics often look white whereas 100% cotton fabrics can look a pale cream colour. The colour for griege is often described as Ivory, ecru, off-white or natural.
