THE COMPANY
Contour Atelier provides a curated collection of luxury high-end materials and components for the modern seamstress. Products are sourced from ethical suppliers, many of whom supply to luxury RTW labels and Couture houses.
Bridging the gap between ‘the Industry’ and the at-home seamstress, Contour Atelier is dedicated to providing women with the tools and know-how needed to empower them to create their own bespoke collections - whether for themselves, a loved one or a client.
THE FOUNDER
Contour Atelier is a brand new one woman business, run by me, Nadia. I am immensely passionate about Fashion Contour and have spent the past 10 years learning the ins-and-outs of the lingerie industry through a variety of roles inside the trade. I have been a Photographer, Blogger, Stylist, Marketing Coordinator, PR Assistant, Sales Executive, Studio Assistant, Bra Fitter and Shop Floor Sales girl - working for both Luxury and Mass-Market designers & brands. I’ve basically done everything except design and make the lingerie…. until now.
After finally figuring out the job I really wanted to do, I took an array of lingerie related short courses and enrolled at London College of Fashion to complete a degree in Fashion Contour.
Now, through Contour Atelier, I hope to bridge the gap between the industry and the independent designer/ maker, providing materials and components that are not often available in small quantities, and content not freely available.
I strongly believe in Bespoke production over Pret-a-porter, especially when it comes to Fashion Contour, and I hope to help & inspire more women to make their own lingerie or become bespoke bra makers themselves.
